Cala Bassa is a beach to the west of Ibiza. As soon as you get there, you can enjoy an incredible view. What makes this beach so beautiful is the white sand and the crystal clear, turquoise water. This beach should definitely be on YOUR Ibiza bucket list!

In the shade under the pine trees is the beach club CBBC, which stands for Cala Bassa Beach Club. You can't avoid this club, as it really is scattered all over the bay. It's a great place to have a drink and the food is also very good, but a little expensive. Of course, you can make it as expensive as you like in Ibiza. Part of the beach is equipped with CBBC sun loungers, and you can also rent a private lounger under the trees. We often find it just as nice to lie on a beach towel next to the sun loungers. Nice and old-fashioned with the sand between your toes. There are also cool boxes here to provide you with a cool drink. At CBBC, the DJ plays the real Ibiza sound of lounge and deep house, and all this together creates that wonderful atmosphere that we all love so much! Reasonably priced.

The water is shallow at the beginning and consists of very fine sand, so a dip here is highly recommended and excellent for swimming. You can also climb onto the rocks for a refreshing dip in the clear water. Cala Bassa is very popular and the bay is not very large, so you can easily crowd into it in high season. We like to come here in the early and late season.

Summertime Cala Bassa Ibiza

CBBC is an insanely good beach club with lots of bars, sun loungers and beds, nice beach stores and an area with massage beds. You can also rent a bed on the beach and the service is absolutely first class! The menu features traditional Ibiza dishes with deliciously fresh local produce. The cocktails are highly recommended! Tip: Lunch at CBBC is not exactly cheap. There is also an Italian section at Portobello, which is much cheaper than the normal CBBC restaurant. You'll find Portobello at the very back of the bay. A real LOW budget tip is of course to bring your own delicious food to the beach.
