The 10 nicest, best and most famous beach clubs in Ibiza!
The nicest, best and most famous beach clubs in Ibiza!
By Roy Timmermans
Ibiza is known for its luxurious beach clubs, where you can be served wonderfully, lying on beautiful beach beds and lounge sofas. Enjoy delicious wines, cocktails and of course the popular Cava Sangria in Ibiza. Most beach clubs are quite pricey, but often you will be completely pampered. In this list good beach clubs, but also a very nice beach bar that you would otherwise never find on a first or second time in Ibiza ;-)
Here's my Top 10 (also read the low budget tip below)
1. Sa Trinxa
On Salinas Beach you will find my number 1 Beach Club on the island; Sa Trinxa! There is a very nice casual atmosphere here. You really see the most diverse audience together here and that makes it so special. In the afternoons there is regularly a DJ playing and this is often the owner John himself. You can eat well here and also just grab a drink at the bar. The beds here are not too expensive and there are regular fun parties, where people even dance on the beach. Our favorite drink here is definitely the Cava Sangria! And of course you just slurp this away per jug! You can cool off here with a dive from the 'famous' springboard.
On Salinas Beach you will be amazed by the mixed audience that walks here, but also the parades with dancers that promote the club nights are too much fun to see. Buy a nice bracelet from the hippies, or a nice cold beer from the locals who serve you drinks on the beach. To get to Sa Trinxa, you walk a long way on the beach towards the rocks. You can recognize it by the roof full of palm leaves.
2.Cala Bassa Beach Club (CBBC)
This beach club is located on the beach of Cala Bassa and has a luxurious appearance, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch under the pine trees. The Beach Club is spread over the entire bay and is full of bars, lounge sofas and beds, nice beach shops and an area with beds for massages. You can also rent a bed on the beach and the service is top notch! The menu includes traditional dishes from Ibiza with beautiful fresh local products. The cocktails are definitely recommended! The beach of Cala Bassa is beautiful white and the water here is crystal clear and often turns turquoise. At CBBC the DJ plays that real Ibiza sound of lounge and deep house and all this together creates that wonderful atmosphere that we all love!
3. Tropicana Beach Club
This cozy and very popular beach club among the Dutch is located on the beach of Cala Jondal and should certainly not be missing from this list. It is located in the south of Ibiza near the airport. During your holiday in Ibiza, you should definitely let yourself be served here for 1 day. Beds are not very cheap here, but it is definitely worth it. Tropicana is the Beach Club where you can even enjoy a good breakfast after a good night of clubbing. Lunch and dinner are also very good here, so breaking out for a long day or enjoying the sun, beach and sea is really no problem! With a bit of luck, a nice salsa party on the terrace will arise here on a beautiful summer evening...
4. Chiringuito Cala Escondida
Hidden away and hard to find is this nice little beach bar. Run by real Ibicenco's and is located at Cala Comte just before the famous Sunset Ahsram. Take a short walk over the rocks in search of an almost hidden staircase. Enjoy a tasty cerveza, or Moijto with a small (vegan) bite and experience an amazingly beautiful sunset. Don't be alarmed, because many people sunbathe naked on this small beach, but everyone at the bar is dressed. Yes, that is also the freedom you still find in Ibiza!
5.Blue Marlin
Everyone has heard of it. This is the club where seeing and being seen is. This place is crazy and also known for its good parties. We find Sunday evenings in particular a real highlight, although it is busy and the audience is quite 'popular'. You can walk straight from the terrace onto the pebble beach, which is full of huge sunbeds. Spending a day here is for the real jet set! They even have a yacht service where you are picked up from your boat or yacht in a small boat. The chance that you will come across real world stars, such as Beyonce or Leonardo Messi, is therefore present and the celebrities also regularly show up here. My tip is therefore that it is better to go to a nice party here in the evening, because you need a big bag of money for a whole day of consumption.
6. Elements Ibiza Beach Club
In this beach club you are in your 'Element', on the (pebble) beach of Cala Benirras, north of Ibiza. A long descent by car to get to the beach. The view in this bay is amazing and the sunset in the summer months is magical. Elements is a nice accessible beach club. An outdoor terrace full of Balinese umbrellas provides that real Ibiza look. This restaurant makes very tasty Mediterranean dishes with a modern touch and you can enjoy the sunset from the terrace. Sunday evenings in Benirras are very popular. The hippies drum until the sun goes down and there's dancing on the beach. This is a real experience!
7. Atzaro Beach
Atzaró Beach is one of the best beach clubs in Ibiza. It is located on the beach of Cala Nova in the northeast of Ibiza. A vast bay with a lovely beach where you will find Atzaró Beach on the rocks just behind the parking lot. There is a relaxed relaxed atmosphere here, so you can have a drink during the day and enjoy a laugh and in the evening you can dine under an attractive roof until the wee hours. A beautifully decorated restaurant in Balinese style with an amazing view!
8. Coco Beach Ibiza
You will find this fine and luxurious beach club on the busy beach of Playa den Bossa. At the very back, so beyond all the craziness of the somewhat ordinary ;) beach clubs on this playa, you will find the peace for a day of doing nothing at all. Lying on your sunbed, enjoying a delicious lunch and delicious cocktails. The service actually runs out of their bodies here to let you enjoy that well-deserved holiday! Of course you have to be able to handle that.
9. Chiringuito Cala Gracioneta
This newly renovated restaurant is built into the rocks at different heights just behind the bay of Sant Antoni, so you always have a good view of the bay. Here you just want to drink delicious cocktails that they are shaking behind a nice bar. This Beach Club is located between the pine trees and is very tastefully decorated with a lot of wood, rattan & banana plants. Eat nice and fresh from the sea, or if you prefer from the grill, that's all possible here. This Chiringuito has an extensive, but also a bit exclusive menu.
10. Low budget tip
Just lie down on the beach with a towel, beach towel or hammam towel . A dip in the sea and the sand between your toes gives you that real holiday feeling! Here too you can hear the music of the beach clubs well and often the cold drinks are offered to you on the beach by, among others, the local residents. These beers and mojitos certainly taste just as good here and with the money you save, you can just buy a ticket for that fun party, or do some extra shopping at the hippie market!
